This show was awesome, and a great sounding recording, too.
This was an incredible setlist. For example, juxtaposing two songs like Death Cake and Pretty Jane is the work of inspired genius.
For personal preference reasons, I have not completely decided between 4 and 5, but rest assured that I still think this show scores high on many aspects. I cant wait to see these guys rock the Fillmore in a few days.

First Time Listener Here......
Ive only heard good things about these guys, read some reviews on then, then i happen to hear a few songs over this past summer on sirius jam_on, and was very impressed. so this is the first show that im downloading of tlg, ive listened to the first disc and id put them up there with string cheese already. imo, who are one of my favorite bands. if your new to these guys get this show, im in the process of downloading the new years eve show, and i cant wait to listen to that. and it would be nice to see more reviews about the quality of shows on here. rarely will you get a review on how the show actually sounds, which is kinda the whole point of this website, to get shows that sound good!! With that being said, this show sounds amazing. I know personally i like listening to shows with the volume cranked up, so this is definitly a show you can that to. i would highly recommend this show.

Tea leaf green has the power to rise to the top of the jam band hierarchy. This show proves it. their natural talent, heartfelt lyrics, and relentless energy shows me how much of an influance this band will have in years to come. criminal intent and las vegas are executed perfectally, as with the entire second set. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED you will be addicted

an absolutely beautiful show, with a great sound quailty, I'm really loving las vegas, such a great little tune. the whole show is great.
I don't even really know what to say, these guys are without a doubt the best thing that I've heard on the scene in a LONG LONG time. Saw them at B-roo for the first time. I just heard this crowd ERUPTING and walked over their and BOOM, this band is just absolutely rippin and singing great songs. Had to dl some more of their shows and this one might be the best on Archive.
I'm also really like 7/9/04 day and night shows
Man I love this BAND!

outstanding show. Really showcases Trevor's talent on the keys as well as his passion singing. I just saw TLG playing at the Gorge before Dave Matthews, and they put their heart into every song. This show really gets moving at Ride Together>Hard Travelin>Ride Together, starts blowing up for a great Baseball Jam, through a full Garden sequence. It gets great in the 2nd set(listen to Panspermic De-evolution!)They finish huge with Sex in the 70's and Freedom. Wow...I think my speakers just exploded again...

too stunned for words right away
First I read a review of 7.7.05 on Jambands and I was impressed by the sincerity of the review so I figured that this must be a band worth checking out as I have seen their name around the scene a bit. Well, I read y'alls reviews and the word would seem to be a 'passionate'. I took the advice and downloaded this show as well as the highly recommended 1.20.05 acoustic show. Well, hol-ee crap -- if this stuff isn't just about some of the best music I have heard in recent years. The best shit I have heard since I found STS9 and String Cheese. I mean these dudes are a seriously high quality quartet of musicians. The lyrical content is just so deep and the melodies so intense. The music just flows so naturually amongst them. There are lots of jambands out there that bring lots to the table musically, but to bring such passionate, poetic lyrics is a real treat. People are right about Phish being a little light lyrically -- but that's fine, no one is gonna take anything away from their awesome contribution -- they made such awesome jams. As for the comparisons, it is true that they are not valid. These guys do their own thing. Sometimes they do sound a bit Phishy, other times they remind me of the Allmans they way they have built their jams, but they truly are original. This is what all good bands do in music -- they borrow from those that impressed them, and then do tribute by using it to make something uniquely their own. I mean Phish sounded, sometimes, like a Zappa/Dead mix until they became a unique, majestic fusion of their own. That is what this band has done, and for that I give them full credit, and tell you that this is one of the best bands that I have heard in recent years, and I have heard a whole bunch of new stuff since the Dead and Phish collapsed the scene and the earth opened up and let loose this whole new cacophany of music. These guys are absolutely hanging ten on the tidal wave. Highly recommended boys, and girls.

MY FAVORITE SHOW!
only a month and a half old and already without a doubt this is my favorite show of Tea Leaf Green's on archive. Ok well it's in a tie with the Independant run 4/1 and 4/2 of 2005! but this show is a kicker from start to finish. Much different band from 2004 in my opinion. Already in just 5 short years they've begun to really key in on what makes them sound so damn tealiscious, and now they're just running with it.
Look for them two nights at Haymaker
Bonnaroo
Wakarusa
Late night High Sierra

9-30-04

3-6-04
Also
nugs.net is featuring TLG this month! The show they have from the Knitting factory is amazing. GREAT GREAT GREAT SOUND QUALITY. Really highlights the amazing lyrics of Trevor Gerrod.
If you haven't heard these guys yet, have a listen, I myself didn't give them a chance for a while, and now I feel like a dumbass for missing what I consider the best band on the scene right now.
Also the independant shows 4/1/05 and 4/2/05 are going to be up here in the next few days, and those were fucking amazing!

Where did these guys come from!?!?!
I've been a huge GD fan 4 life as you can tell by the sn, and I've never been able to find a band that combines that flair that GD had and the lyrics to back them. Well, Tea Leaf Green isn't GD. But they're not trying to be so that's good. They're trying to do their own thing, and let me tell you. IT SOUNDS FUCKING AMAZING! These songs are very poigniant, very lyrically driven, and when they jam their guitarist and keyboardist go off! Like I'm talking Trey meets a sultry southern Blues player and a bit of Duane Allman to boot. I hadn't checked these guys out because somebody said they sounded like Phish, but they were wrong. Yes, the way they structure their jams are phishy in a sense, they bring it down low build build build and then hit that orgasmic peak, but it's not in the phish sense, it's in the TLG sense. Very rock and roll. Check this show out, I can't describe it but I'm sure you won't be thinking they sound like phish by the end. You'll be saying, "DAMN THIS BAND IS FUCKING GOOD!" I'm already downloading another show as I write this!
